Where is Raed?
If you haven't had a chance to check it out yet, you should peek at "Where is Raed?" It's been climbing on Daypop.com's links for the last few days... It's much more interesting to hear the perspective of a guy waiting for the sky to rain bombs on the city he lives than to watch CNN's random crap cameras showing unintelligible explosions. If it's for real (and it sure seems to be), it's pretty darn interesting. If it's a (quite elaborate) hoax, they sure did a good job. The guy at least chose a clever name for an Iraqi citizen under siege... Salam Pax. (As most of you probably know, "Salaam" or "Salam" is Peace, in Arabic and "Pax" is Peace in Latin.) He does keep the posts coming ... and there is actually quite a bit of detail in some of them. But forget "Where is Raed?", I still can't figure out Who is Raed!?
Also up there in interest is Kevin Sites' site. I don't think the pun is intended, as his name really is Kevin Sites and he is a CNN correspondent who I believe I happened to see on the news a day or so ago.
