GW2 articles regarding Al-Jazeera TV

Analysis: How allies are winning on ground, Iraqis on TV Close to something that Newsweek predicted before the war.

Images of death, violence shock Arabs: "Fifteen-year-old Mohammed Abbas, said that if he will ever see an American in Bahrain, he will personally attack him. 'It is my right to do so. If they can attack Iraqis and kill them for no reason, then I can do the same.'" --- Yikes! Score one for the camp that argues this war will equip and not disarm terrorists of the future.

As a side note, do not visit Al-Jazeera's site. You will be mortified and sickened. I was going there through a partial arabic translation service to get additional news coverage... until this morning, when I stumbled upon the most horrific images I've ever seen in my life. My take on showing the horror of war on TV? Don't. Everyone in the world knows that war is horrible. Everyone knows that innocent people are killed in war. Everyone knows that this war - just like all wars - should end as soon as possible, whether the war is "wrong" or "right". Why would we need to see the kinds of things that traumatize soldiers for years? Yes, it's free speech... but free speech should be combined with responsible journalism and photographers should give the victims the dignity they deserve.
