I’ve gotten back into blogging recently over at adambrault.com.

Since 2008, I’ve thought often about bringing this blog back, but I’m a pretty much over WordPress as a publishing platform. Too much distraction and maintenance, not enough focus on the direct content.

That said, I’ve decided that this is point of personal growth for me. It’s not the platform that’s the real problem; I’m allowing a simple excuse to get in the way of doing something I want to do.

WordPress is fine (so much better now with auto-updates) and I just need to deal with it. So that’s what I’m going to do.

So—why run three blogs? Good question. Different audiences, different interests, and (most importantly) different boxes within which to focus content topically. adambrault.com is where I write and share personal reflections and wisdom I’ve gained in running &yet that may or may not work well on the company blog.

What am I going to share here? The same thing as always—cultural interests—the web, music, and bizarre stuff I just feel inspired to write and publish. I might bring back Mathcaddy Radio, though it’s much harder than it might appear to put together a good session of interesting stuff. We’ll see.

Until then, I’ve accepted the imperfections of WordPress and myself and will be continuing to move forward for the sake of the enjoyment of publishing.
