Today I went and got my driving permit! It opened up a whole new wolrd of driving freedom that I never thought possible!! I can drive anywhere anytime whenever i want!! But I have to go with my parents or someone else who has had their license for 5 years. *Sigh*

Well, my bro's been in the business for a while, but I think my shirts are going to beat the crap out of his shirts. (Of course, I had to wait until he left the country to launch this because he might beat the crap out of me for giving him competition.) Anyway... this is the first in a series of darn cool and weird T-Shirts that will be made available at my cafe press store. T-Shirts are only $14.99!

Please. Buy one now. Together we can change the world.

Sorry, but the Photo Mojo section of the web site is 100% manual for now. I am hoping to have a new entry method set up for people to post picture-only items (no descriptions) to the site's Photo Mojo section, but it's not there yet.

That's our motto around here at mathcaddy.com. Well, at least for the next couple hours.

I laughed hard enough when this bizarre phrase first struck me that I ended up spending a couple minutes in PhotoShop designing this beautiful desktop background. Click the image for a wonderful 1024 x 768 image that you can then make your own desktop! Yeah! How fun!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I can't get over how incredible is every Grandaddy song I've heard. Until I purchased their latest album, Sumday, I had not heard anything by them outside of The Crystal Lake or Hewlett's Daughter, both from 2000's The Sophtware Slump. I really did like those songs (and still do), but I would have never called them "incredibly great" or anything close. In comparison, practically every one of their songs that I have heard since - both from the new album and their older stuff - has been amazing to me. It really takes some time for me to like a track. A perfect example: I hated "Miner at the Dial-a-View" the first 10 times I heard it and now I think it's mind-blowingly good. All the little intricate parts and the quirky analog synths in the background... and the haunting emotion that seems to hang just above the song... Dang. For anyone ready for some more adventuresome music, check out Grandaddy's stuff. To me it's a lot like the new Flaming Lips record. Hard to get into, but even harder to get out of!

I saw Guster play an acoustic set at a record store here in Seattle and all I can say is Woah. They even played a cover of "Happy Together", which was incredible. Oh yea by the way the new album is beyond great, it even has Ben Kweller singing on track 12. Definitely a must have.

You might notice a little bit different layout. If you do, congratulate yourself on having eyes. As always, I appreciate any feedback on the new layout.

Also check out the new section recently added to the web page: "PhotoMojo." I take a ton of pictures, and some of them are kind of fun and exciting in their own special way, so I figured I'd add a section to post thumbnails with links to current pictures on there.

I'd like to figure out a way to have a PhotoBlogging section on the site that would allow a picture and a one-line description... but I'm not sure yet how to make it straightforward and simple enough to be usable for everyone. I'll keep looking and keep working on it.

In the meanwhile, post your pictures to the main site like usual and I will reorganize them to be part of the "Photo Mojo" section.
