An iPod Story

I am just so excited about my new iPod that it inspired me to just sit down and actually try and make a flash movie. It started out well, but then when I switched perspectives I redraw images that were the same instance! Basically, that means that as I redrew the images for the new perspective, they were automatically changed for the old perspective because flash think that they are the same thing. It really got me all fed up and I tried to patch it up quickly and then gave up on the project. So far all of my flash experiences have ended in utter failure, but from these failures give me hope for the future!

By the way, does anyone else remember that they are a contributor, or am I the only one without a life?

Almost forgot, here is what I have of my new animation. You will need flash player to view.

Happy Holidays Indeed

After 3 hours or some hardcore mp3 reorganization, my music collection is now ready to be squeezed into my tiny new iPod. This shiny silver and white box is amazing! After trading in my easily emulated gameboy advance and overpriced Rio mp3 player (with a horrendous 128 mb capacity!) I was able to actually save my parents money by letting them get me an iPod.

Today I also played with the neat bold and italic options for posting.

{Collin M.] Collin

Has anyone else noticed the ‘{‘ on Collins title? I have. I saw it the very first day that he was added, but I didn’t say anything. I have stayed silent for far too long. It’s the truth, it’s an outrage.

What happened to the 25 days of postage Adam?

New Animation!

I got some very useful tools today to help me further hone my animation skills. More specifically I got a .swf ripper that allows me to steal other peoples flash animations and an action script viewer that lets me see how they put it togethor. This made things seem to be on the bright side for my future animations. Then I took a look at the action scipting and dont even have any idea how to look at animation techniques. Looks like im back to the old frame by frame animated .gif’s.
